Teide at Night – Sunset, Dinner, and Star Observation from Puerto de la Cruz

Tour details
Discover Teide from a completely different perspective. When most tourists leave the National Park, the landscape transforms with the sunset, and one of the clearest skies in the world appears over the island.
This unique excursion combines spectacular views, a sunset over the volcanic landscape, dinner at a mountain restaurant, and stargazing with a certified Starlight guide.
Excursion Program
The journey begins by crossing the La Esperanza mountains, from where views extend over the La Orotava Valley and the north of Tenerife.
During the excursion, you will visit the most emblematic places in Teide National Park: the La Esperanza viewpoint, the Queen's Shoe, the Teide Narices, the Llano de Ucanca viewpoint, the Roques de García, and the viewpoints of Teide and Pico Viejo.
Along the way, you will see hundreds of volcanic cones, solidified lava flows, extensive volcanic fields, and landscapes that seem to be from another planet.
After some free time at the Roques de García, the group heads to a viewpoint where one can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Tenerife.
Dinner and Stargazing
After the sunset, dinner is planned at a restaurant located in the mountains.
Following dinner, the stargazing begins. A certified Starlight guide talks about the stars, planets, and constellations visible over Tenerife, pointing them out with a laser pointer.
Thanks to the exceptional atmospheric conditions and low light pollution, up to 83 of the 88 constellations visible in the world can be observed from Tenerife.
What the Price Includes
Round trip transfer to the hotel, air-conditioned bus, official guide, dinner at the restaurant, and stargazing with a Starlight guide.
