PADI Open Water Diver Course

What's included?
Tour details
PADI Open Water Diver is the most widely recognised diving certification in the world. Once you complete it, you can dive independently anywhere on the planet, always with a dive buddy. The course lasts 3 to 4 days and includes 5 dives under the supervision of a certified PADI instructor.
Course programme
The course consists of three stages. The theory part covers the basics of diving and can be completed online before arriving on Tenerife, or in a classroom on site. Next come pool dives, where you practise basic skills in controlled conditions. The final stage is four open-water dives, where you build confidence and discover Tenerife's underwater world in practice.
During the course, you learn how to use diving equipment, how to plan and carry out real dives, and how to prevent and handle problems underwater.
Requirements
The minimum age is 10. The PADI eLearning platform requires a minimum age of 13 due to international online regulations, so younger participants complete the theory part in a classroom on site.
Practical information
Duration: 3 to 4 days, depending on the participant's pace and needs. Number of dives: 5.
