Parascending

50 metres above the ocean, a view over the entire Tenerife coastline, and a 10-minute flight that ends with a landing straight into the water. Parasailing is one of those activities that looks exciting from the beach and is even better once you're up there yourself.

How it works

The meeting point is at Puerto Colón, where a short briefing takes place and life jackets are put on. A modern motorboat then takes participants out onto the water, where a special platform on board allows for a comfortable take-off and landing without ever touching the water. The boat picks up speed, the canopy lifts, and you're in the air. Gliding at a height of 50 metres above the open ocean, with views of the coastline, mountains and water beneath your feet. At the end, a gentle descent back onto the boat and a refreshing swim in the ocean.

The whole experience lasts from 45 minutes to an hour, including around 10 minutes of actual flight.

Important information

Suitable for anyone from 18 months of age. One, two or three people can take part in a single flight. Life jackets are provided on site, and the whole activity is fully insured.
